Angela Wakefield

Born in Accrington in 1978, Angela has been developing her skills since childhood. She typically paints northern town scenes in rich and glowing colours. Angela depicts the ordinary in an extra ordinary way which is a testament to her skill and vision.

Angela explains, “I am inspired by the vast array of luminous man-made colours that transform our towns and cities from bleak and depressing spaces by day to vibrant and colourful fairgrounds by night.”

Receiving critical acclaim for her work, Angela has featured in many publications including, Art of England (November 2008, October 2007 & April 2007), Galleries Magazine (2008-2009), Aesthetica Magazine (Jan 2008), Lancashire Life (December 2007), Concept for Living (October 2007),

Her work has a warmth that appeals to many people and there is no doubt she is a rising star and her work represents a sound financial investment.
