A Mooch approach

Mooch specialises in artwork from emerging and mid career artists. This means we search every nook and cranny to find the best artists and then give them the opportunity to display their work in our gallery and here below. Mooch has captured more artists who show spectacular creativity, innovative thinking, and are rising stars in the art world.

Victoria Ashworth

Victoria Ashworth entered the mooch artist of the year competition 2008 and received praise for her work. Her artwork showing cityscapes of Liverpool have a distinct and colourful style that caught the judge’s eye. Here is a selection of her latest work.

Born in Tameside n 1985, Victoria first applied herself to the arts during her A-levels and since attained a degree in fine art and is teaching part time while spending her free time in her studio.

Her paintings display the fact that Liverpool is undergoing a period of transitions and that the city feels “artificial and unreal”. Her underlying message is that we should cherish our heritage. Modern architecture is transforming our cities into homogenous bland environments, which do not age well.

Victoria is surely a rising star in the art world and her oil paintings will represent a great investment as well as something you can enjoy for years to come.
