Aidan O'Rourke
Aidan O'Rourke, Manchester-based photographer writer has been documenting the changing face of the city in photos and words since 1996. Between 1997 and 2005 he produced the website Eyewitness in Manchester (from June 1998 part of Manchester Online). Since late 2003 he has developed his aidan.co.uk website which is a great resource for viewing Manchester.
Born in January 1958, Aidan grew up in Stockport and went to Xaverian College Manchester. He studied German and French at Trinity College Dublin, and has worked in New York, Germany and the Middle East. He is married with one daughter.
