Mooch is incredibly excited to announce the long-awaited return of internationally acclaimed artist Stefan Fiedorowicz as he unveils an important new solo show.
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you see change”
Stefan; a Canadian now living in Vienna, Austria, has exhibited widely including major shows in the US, Canada and Europe. Following a number of years away from Manchester we are delighted that he should bring this significant show to Mooch.
The preview is on wednesday 24th March - 6-8pm.

01/01/2010 - Michael Gutteridge and Dai David Exhibition - February 3rd, 6-8pm |
The Mooch art gallery looks forward to an art exhibition with a musical flavour. The exhibition will feature artwork from two established artists who are revealing the source of their creativity.
Michael Gutteridge and Dai David are established artists with formidable reputations. Fresh new artwork will be unveiled at the preview where everyone is encouraged to come to see the work and chat to the artists over a glass of wine.
“All that Jazz” previews on Wednesday 3rd February and runs until 2nd March.

14/10/2009 - Danny Cawley Solo Show |
The Mooch art gallery looks forward to the exhibition of one of Manchester’s most promising up and coming artists. A born and bred Mancunian, Danny Cawley has held exhibitions around the northwest but never before in his hometown. On Saturday the 21st November, mooch art Manchester will host an 8-week exhibition of Danny’s mesmerizing abstract art at Mooch in the Triangle. There will also be a live set played by John Bramwell from "I am Kloot".

For the past 6 months Sarah has been painting a portrait of the Musician/Journalist/commentator, John Robb, which will be unveiled by the man himself. She will be exhibiting her other portraits as well as her superbly textured and richly coloured abstract pieces.

Sunday 6th September 2pm - 5pm
The last wine tasting event went down so well we thought we would do another. Mark Dent will guide you through a selection of fine wines giving you an insight into the way professionals taste (or slurp) wine. It is a fascinating, educational and enjoyable few hours.
A selection of fine cheeses will also be served.

27/05/2009 - Mooch Life - New Exhibition at the triangle |
Mooch art has the second exhibition at the triangle and its going to be a corker. Called "Mooch Life" it is a group show with a great range of paintings to give still life some power and vibrancy.
Introducing artist Malcolm Croft and his lively and vivid oil paintings that are taking the art world by storm. In the past month, Malcolms paintings haven''''t even dried before being bought. We will be posting the magazine articles of him over the next month.

Mark Dent from Hanging Ditch will be hosting a master class in wine tasting at the Mooch art gallery at the triangle. He will present hidden gems of specially selected wines and offer you an insight into how the professionals choose wine. Whatever your level of knowledge this event will further your understanding and appreciation of wine.
You can come into the city on the Sunday, have a spot of lunch and then come and taste some superb wine.

31/03/2009 - Mooch announces opening of new gallery |
Mooch art is opening a new gallery in the triangle, Manchester city centre. The gallery is approximately 3 times the size of the Oldham street premises and promises to be the best place in the north west for buyers to mooch original contemporary artwork. The doors will open on the 14th April for people to have a mooch during the Easter holidays. The official launch date will be announced soon.

27/02/2009 - Party time, Mooch Style |
Thursday night, the mooch gallery was host to Clint Boon unveiling his portrait painted by Adam Hayley. Clint unveiled the painting at 8:35 and more that a few people gasped. Its huge and at 91cms x 152cms it totally dominates the space. The night was to celebrate Adam’s achievement and show people what he can do with a paintbrush. The gallery was busier than it has ever been and there should be some great stories coming out in the papers very soon.

Artist and National Portrait Gallery award entrant Adam Hayley has completed another distinctive portrait, for another legendary Mancunian admirer of his work. For former Inspiral Carpets member and XFM DJ Clint Boon, this is all a contrast to his wilder “Madchester” days - he is unveiling a portrait of himself at the Mooch Art Gallery amidst a night of music, art and cakes.
