Launch of "Mooch artist of the year" competition
Mooch has launched a competition to find the next hot young talent in the art world. This is a huge event and is the backbone of the mooch ethos of fostering new talent.
Wayne Hemingway (entrepreneur and founder of red or dead) and Peter Saville (legendary former factory records sleeve designer) have agreed to judge the entries along with the editors of MEN city life, One Manchester, Cheshire life, Manchester confidential, Concept for living and Urban Life magazines. It looks to provide a great boost for whomever wins. The event looks to receive fantastic press attention and ultimately we hope that it will raise awareness that there is some fantastic talent out there and there are opportunities for artists to show their work if they have the talent.
